The hosts for this year MTV Asia award 2008 are Jared Leto (the vocalist of 30 seconds to Mars and also a famous actor) n also Karen Mok(also an actress n a succesful singer in Hong Kong)..the opening was started with Jabbawockeez,winners of the popular Us tv show America's Best Dance Crew...they were wearing white masks and gloves...

and there are a performer called project E.A.R(East Asian Revolution) performed in five different language from the region and fusion various genre of music...comprising members Ahli Fiqir(Singapore),PopShuvit(Malaysia),Saintoco(Indonesia),Slapsounds(Philipines),Silksounds
(Thailand) and Thaitanium(Thailand)
